I recently learned of a new website called In the Face of Pain which serves to educate professionals and the public on gaps in pain management. It is specifically designed to aid you in composing advocacy messages to spread in your community, to providers, or to your politicians.

If nothing else, they can be a route to greater self-awareness and self-education about your own pain condition, as well as treatment options.
